We leave the Dominican Republic after four months. We came with hope and we leave with Lucas.
Behind it stays the country that gave birth to our son, a country that will remain forever in our hearts and that we will visit again someday, when Lucas grows older.
Time to start a new life with him.
I can wait to see what life has in store for us!

Third single! Today it's the turn for "For Just O

Third single!
Today it's the turn for "For Just One Day". This song was a real challenge to me as it's a song that was initially written by Merethe. She asked me to listen what she had and play around with it. I enjoyed the process A LOT as Merethe was opened enough to allow me do whatever I wanted to. So in a way, I made my own song and combined with the initial idea Merethe helped me build this epic and positive song.
As with the other songs, special mention to my bros Carlos, Bobby and Pere for helping us in this process playing bass, guitar, drums and the mix of the song!
Also, special mention to Ram who helped us with the orchestra recording process and the orchestration.

Second single “Stronger Together” released tod

Second single “Stronger Together” released today from EP “Life is a dream”
As days go by, we are still working on the tracks. This is an unusual way to work on an album as
usually we finish the whole thing and then we spend months with it in the drawer waiting for
the release date. Due to my personal situation the time we had to finish the whole thing was trimmed drastically so we are basically mixing tracks as we release them.
And today we have “Stronger Together”! This is the only metal track in the EP and I cannot be
happier about it. It has most of the elements I like in a song. We have a powerful chorus, groove, instrumental parts, electronic stuff, orchestra, and of course, Merethe’s voice which I prefer better than mine 😂
Kudos to my friend Pere Revert who is demonstrating through the years his capability to mix
whatever thing I put in his hands to a level of expertise that blows my mind every time.
Orchestral? Ok! Electronic music? Ok!, Metal? Ok!... He keeps hitting the bull’s eye every time he mixes anything I give him.
Also, I cannot forget about my brother Carlos, who wrote the biggest part of this song. Do you
think I could write this kind of metal just by myself? No of course, and to be honest, I don’t
need or want to, as I have him who knows a lot more about this than I do, and I always have
him close to write more stuff like this if I need it (or so he told me… lol). Thank you bro for being there, supporting me in everything I get involved!

Today is the day!
Approximately in February this year we started working on tracks with Merethe (we as in Sonnos team). We had several videocalls with her and we had some sort of plan. The whole idea was to do an EP that should be ready once Two Steps From Hell tour starts on June 13th.
So as we were doing the first track, I received the call to come to Dominican Republic for the adoption. I came here with my family and started the process. A few weeks later I had this meeting with Merethe and I promised her that we would the album no matter what is going on with my life.
Truth be told, the process has been crazy difficult. I’ve felt inspired to work on the tracks and that helped, but when your life is a mess it’s hard to work on a project this big. We managed to put together four amazing tracks and today we are presenting you the first one: Life is a Dream.
Why “Life is a Dream”? We talked about this and we loved the idea that it would mean something different to everyone each person. Is it a dream as in a wonderland? Is it a dream as in a hologram as some researchers think? Is it a dream as in Matrix? Everyone can have a different idea and we loved that.
I remember working on the piano of the track, and I loved the idea of changing keys to make it look like a journey. I could never anticipate how big that journey would be…

Hello everybody!
Today I'm bringing you a small excerpt of a song called ""I am enough"".
This video is a small portion of the song in which we have a choir that both Merethe and I did that contains over 40 tracks! I really love how melodies and countermelodies happen in it as they help a lot the main vocal (that by now remain hidden) and the rest of the music.
This is one of the tracks included in the Ep called ""Life is a Dream"" that will be exclusively released in Bandcamp next June 29th and put in the rest of the streaming platforms later on July 4th.

Hello guys!
Today I'm bringing you a video of the orchestra recording we did the past May 20th. Needless to say how special that moment was and how excited I was in that particular moment, although I promise that I was very attentive to see that everything was happening according with what we needed.
The sound you hear is, of course, not the final mixing but a premix, and I think it also sounds good already! The orchestra sounded amazing, they played amazing and the results are there.
I cannot wait for you to listen this album!
This song is called Life is a Dream and we will be releasing it as a single in a few days!
