For years I’ve admired Merethe Soltvedt for her work with Two Steps From Hell.
Today I’m honored to say that we have been writing an EP together and an EP has come out of that. It is called “Life is a Dream” and it contains four tracks. With the help of my brother Carlos, writing a metal song for us, Bobby who played drums on all four songs, and Pere Revert mixing the project, this has turned out to be an EP to remember for the rest of my life.
My personal situation now, living in Dominican Republic while writing this album, while adopting a kid, all this has make this really special. Also, I have had the pleasure of recording a live orchestra for the first time ever with the collaboration of Hollywood composer and orchestrator Rahm Khatz from whom I’ve learnt A LOT!
All this combined has turned in a four track EP which will have songs ranging from epic orchestral music, to metal.
I cannot wait for all of you to listen to this EP. “Life is a Dream” will be available exclusively on Bandcamp for a few weeks from June 22nd and on all platforms from July 4th. But we will have a single released on June 15th, so stay tuned!
